Just Announced!

2014  Summer Selections will take place between early March and April 30.  Anyone not selected by April 30 will receive a non-select e-mail notification on or about May 1.

Please take your time filling out your application for the Langley Aerospace Research Student Scholars (LARSS) Program.

Should you need to pause filling out your application, you may save your application and resume later.

You may consider reviewing our host of Frequently Asked Questions.

Special disclaimer for LARSS students: Students will normally not be assigned to work in the same organization as relatives. Please also note that your answers to the "relative" question will not be factored into the selection process, but instead will be used only by placement officials in the event a selection is made.

Note: LARSS Bridge Program
applicants are also to apply through this process.

The LARSS “Bridge Program” option offers opportunities for select outstanding rising high-school seniors, college freshmen and sophomores who have previous NASA program experience and a 3.5 GPA to be considered for an internship at a reduced rate of pay.

“To me LARSS is a wonderful program because it provides the best kind of education and that is giving students the opportunity to work in the real world doing real things with NASA engineers, scientists, and technologists. . .”

"With all honesty, this has been one of the best summers I've had. Being at part of the LARSS program allowed me to grow so much both personally and professionally. I have met some of the finest people here and I'm so grateful for the opportunity. I [deftinetly] couldn't have asked for a better way to complete my undergrad at ECU. There are no limits to what we can do!"
